    Sorry guys, I did not intend for my joke about powdered hair to lead to jokes about age in relation to the wearing of a jabot.

    I just have in my mind paintings of men wearing the jabot or something like it along with long powdered hair or a wig. It was a joke about my own long hair and not age.
    I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…

    I own a Sherrifmuir. Wonderful doublet, hot but a great place hang my military metals. I'm proud to have served for 21 years in USAF and the Sherrifmuir really sets them off. I also have a mess-dress jacket that works wonderfully for a kilt jacket on hotter, less formal occasions.
