It's already solidified! I can't wear one in to the office, but otherwise, I'm just about always kilted. My 6 yo thinks it's wierd if I come down in pants, anymore.

Good on you for just doing it! If more people did just that, then things would be a whole lot better!
I went to an get together at some friends house last Saturday in my SWK BW, sweatshirt and such. I got there a little early, but not a single word was said until some other people showed up, whom I've never met until then.
I think most of my friends have gotten used to it, it's just who I am now, and even expected. I consider that a great victory for me.
On Halloween, many asked where the kilt was, I said, I don't wear it on Halloween because it's not a costume, but that's not what they ment. They ment that they expected me to be in a kilt, dressed up as something else in the kilt....! Not sure how I would have done that though...
Congrats on having a great time!

Yes, Kilt on. I to went kilted to the company Christmas party. But we were two guys in kilts. We also walked though down town city 3 AM and it was crowded with party people. We got a lot of positive comments both from men and women. It’s very rare to see kilts in Norway. See pics at my site www.kilt.no.
