    In fact the only "cross words" I've had with my elder son in lo, these many years, was when he let slip that the deer he took last year (in Virginia, where he resides), was from a tree-stand, with a compound bow!
    As I taught that lad all his basic woodskills, and none had involved aluminum or fiberglass or pulleys, I was indignant!
    But I'm also getting off-track, though, aren't I?
    For Xmas, I would be greatly relieved, and grateful, if the Mrs. & I could score some health insurance! (Our employees have it but we don't!)
    Sir, at least he is an archer!!!!!!!

    I would love to see my mother in laws cancer go into remission, and my father in law recover cognitive function that he's lost to Parkinsons disease, so that he can stay home and not exhaust mom. I wish for peace and strength for Joan.

    Kilts come second to all this.

    However, in an effort to remain somewhat "normal" is this awful year, I have put together a present list like I usually do which includes an inexpensive kilt pin and hose from Hamilton Dry goods.

    Let's see:
    Enough resources to purchase what I want, when I want;
    The time and funds to see all the world;
    The ability to give friends and family the same.

    Oh yeah, and world peace.

    If we are to discuss the deep seated wishes and not the superficial ones, I wish my father would regain the abilities he has been loosing due to the brain injury from so long ago. I wish I could take him and my mother in with us and care for them, as they cared for me for so long. I wish I could regain the trust with the woman I call my sister that I had so foolishly squandered. I wish for the money to make my father the Stewart of Appin kilt to replace the one of his fathers and grandfathers that was lost in his youth. I wish my brother would care about someone more than himself even if only for one day, to see the pain he's caused to others. I wish for my wife and I to be able to relocate to the woman I call my sister and her soon to be husband, as the pain of being distant from our closest friends grows too much to bear at times. And most of all, I wish for my son to continue to grow into the youthful form he has been demonstrating, and that he can achieve anything he sets his mind to.

    The brother I get along with the least always comes across with very thoughtful Xmas gifts for me. I'd like to be able to return the favor.

    Employment, mainly. May not happen, but it'd be nice if it did.
