    I had read that thread, and forgot about it. I started off in a hurry and my brain was in neutral on that issue. The thread has some mixed reviews, with apparent majority in favor of untucked. Next time I'll go for untucked and take a picture for comparison. Thanks. Fortunately, the people who saw me aren't privy to this board. For them, their focus was the kilt!

    Stillwater Kilts had some MacRae Hunting recently - might have a few left!

    Actually, I bought one. Unfortunately, the one I received had a manufacturing defect (the white stripe on the sett was not straight with the pleat). That was the last one in my size, and the next closest size had the same problem. Jerry was excellent and gave me a full refund. He said that he will be returning them to his supplier for a refund. I'll still keep my eyes open for another one. I would really like to get the MacRae Red. That will be on my wish list for a future hand made kilt.

    You look very sharp! Good on you for wearing it to work...it seems like you had a great time and the kilt was well recieved.

    I persoally think that your sweater tucked in is "CORRECT" for the occation. IMHO, untucked would look TOOOOO casual.
