Black Grouse
Anyone on the board ever try Black Grouse?
To be expected, from the same outfit that puts out Famous Grouse. It's a blend of Famous Grouse and with Islay malt whiskys. I've only ever drank it neat, and it was very smooth. But if you don't like a nice smokey, peaty whisky, you might want to steer clear.
In the words of my dad: This whisky can give you emphysema if you're not careful!
My mom picked up the bottle for my dad on the way home from France, and I haven't seen it here in the States yet. Anyone State-side see it hidden away someplace I haven't looked yet?

I'll be making a trip to the "package store" today and I'll take a look. I have friends coming for Xmas and I need to stock up on the Delirium Noel.

Judging by your description, it bears looking around for all over the place; if need be, I'll even poke around down in Mass for some, where the liquor sales aren't state-controlled like up here in Vermont & NH!

It seems to be a UK thing, and for a good cause too.
