Going to Hogmanay!

Folks, it's been a very long time since I had any posts, but I have to share my excitement. On Dec. 25, I will be flying out of Palm Springs, CA and heading to Edinburgh for the weekend frolics and fun and diving right into the Hogmanay festivities. It will make my second Hogmanay experience, and I sure need a break!

A coworker was supposed to go with me, but due to last minute medical procedures, will be unable. It's really too bad, because I was looking forward to showing him around Edinburgh and introducing him to the friends I have made there from my many trips. Yes, "many." There's no better place in the world than Scotland, and I go there three to four times a year.

It would be nice to know if anyone else will be attending the Hogmany event and hopefully, we could connect. I will be taking my McKinnon red as well as the Dress Gordon and many interchangeable accessories... Hoepfully, I will have some photos to share -- if I can get some young child to help me; I'm computer-challenged, to say the least!

I was there for Hogmanay two years ago and the event got cancelled due the the rain and high wind. However, the pubs were absolutely packed. At midnight, everyone was kissing everyone... Hmmm.
