Wow, I had suggestions until we got to pink. But I am sure others can help.

Open this link and scroll down to the bottom of the page:

...there lies the Mary Stewart Tartan. I'm not sure what the exact status of it is as far as what materials that it can be woven in...if Rocky and Kelly are going to make it available in PV, you might be looking at a not-that-expensive kilt...wool would be, I would guess, at least twice as expensive.

Wish you luck, but perhaps this would turn out to be a good DIY project considering that there is a limited budget and low cost pink kilts are rare.

    * Or at least I think they are rare... *
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…

I'll also gladly give you the link to an ebay seller that usually has a lot of tartan available at very reasonable prices.

    http://shop.ebay.com/merchant/osterv...Q_fromZQQ_mdoZ

I have a feeling, though, that this seller is sort of shutting things down for the holidays judging by the fact that he has only four items listed and only one is tartan.

You might just want to look at a Stillwater Standard to get you started and hold you until a better alternative becomes available. A Red Stewart or Black Stewart would be pretty generic but would look good.
