    Indecision

Eric Pirie, of the Cairngorm area of Scotland,
and his kilt of many colors.

I guess you could say it was pleated to the all the stripes.

    Regards,
    Rex.

What's really sick is that I can make out what I believe most of those tartans are.

    to name a few:
    Buchanan
    MacDonald
    Flower of Scotland
    Dress MacDonald
    Stewart Hunting

How cool is that! I'd love to see this kilt swishing and swaying...

Maybe he's just in touch with his past lives...

Asuming I understand that that is a multi tartan kilt or something like that.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…

Correct, Ted. The source page didn't say much about it, except that he built it from collected scraps of tartan. The picture shows the fellow holding up the kilt he apparently made himself, pleats to the camera.

    Rex.

Thanks Rex. Actually if it wasn't tartan, that might be pretty cool... Almost like those Crazy Quilts made out of all kinds of fabric and colors.

Has a similar appearance to the necktie "kilt" I saw a couple years ago in Albuquerque...

It was certainly SOMETHING. Words elude me.
