Inexpensive trews - any UK suppliers?
Just had a great idea for my father's birthday present, and wondered if anyone (especially in the UK) has any idea where I can buy inexpensive tartan trews? Ideally they'd be in a variety of tartans. He's disabled and wouldn't feel comfortable in a kilt, but used to wear trews when I was a youngster in the Tartan.
Ideally in the UK, but not essential.
Many thanks
Graham.

I would think that any reputable shop that sold "made to measure" kilts, could also have a pair of trews made. I think Locharron (sp?) makes them.

I recommend e-bay seller xsnick for trews in the former regiments tartans. I do not think he has any listed at the moment, but they are a regular item in his inventory. MoD surplus, usually brand new.
