This makes me think of my dad. I can't post what I'm thinking... because this is a family friendly forum, and when my dad retired, he stopped being family friendly!

You can hold your head up in pride.
Most of my bad, embarrassing events were when I was younger and sometimes under the influence.

So, when I get to therapy, I go into one of the rooms off the main floor and change into shorts. Well, for some reason today, my mind was wondering. I took off my belt, sporran, and kilt, grabbed my cane, opened the door, and took a step out of the room to the main floor. There was a women on an exercise machine no more than 10 feet directly in front of me. See looked at me, brought her hands up to her mouth and began to laugh really loud. Fortunately, I was not regimental, but I was standing there in my polo shirt, shoes, kilt hose, flashes and my UNDERWEAR !!
I found out that I can really move much faster with my cane than I thought, as I retreated to the room, closed the door and put on my shorts. The lady was still laughing with tears in her eyes when I came out of the room. Actually several people were laughing. She told me that I made her day.
I turned 62 last month. Lord help me when I turn 63!!

Scooby actually got to school one day in just his boxer briefs; they were the same color as his uniform shorts and I didn't realized he hadn't put the short on until we were at school, 15 minutes from home. He spent the first hour of the day in a pair of my biker type gym shorts, he was big even in Kindergarten.

It's as we get older we think we're losing it as we become a bit more conscious of doing forgetfull things. It happens throughout our lives and we don't worry too much then.

Well, if we can't laugh at ourselves, then life would be pretty boring!
Thanks for the laugh.

LOL! I think it may have something to do with still wearing shoes and socks. I always put those on before the kilt, or take them off after removing the kilt. When I am wearing shoes and socks, I still feel dressed. I was wearing shoes and hose when I hurried to answer the door bell, once. There I was, thankfully in long shirt, with my sister-in-law standing there.
