The storm hit here rather hard, but it was the wind that made it worse. We got about 15cm of the white stuff. My dog was sick yesterday and we had to take him at the height of the storm to the vet. It was an interesting ride home. (Jeter is fine now, he just has a rather bad infection)
My sister is finishing up her Christmas shopping tonight because we are about to be hit with another 20cm tomorrow!

Lovely!! The storm we were supposed to get here in Denver blew itself out trying to get over the mountains, as so often happens. Rule of thumb here is that if the storm comes from the west, we'll get little to nothing in Denver. If it comes from the south or the east... we're in trouble. I wish we'd get into a little trouble... I love snow! We have a girl at work who hates it! So what do I do? I wear my nice Lewis Rich kilt hose, a SWK heavyweight, and follow outside on her smoke breaks, just so I can kick snow on her and laugh at her when she kicks it back.

Ah!!! Send some south!! My kitties love snow! Well, my Midnight does... Barbosa, not so much. I threw her in a snow bank just so I could watch her romp. She's so cute when she's mad at me.

The snow looks very festive. I was out for about three hours this morning in perfect 65 F and sunny weather. I can feel I got a little sun on the face.

Next time you visit the In-Laws, let me know, maybe we can meet for a kilt night!

Y'know, I really am enjoying the snow here. After spending the last 29 winters in Calgary Alberta it's refreshing to have lots of snow in the winter. Even the temps don't bother me. Tonight the low is supposed to be -30C with a -43C windchill factor. Woohoo!!
Here's a couple pics of my driveway from this morning, plus a shot of my new "toy".

It's the global warming, I tell you. We're obviously boiling in our own CO2, and something must be done! (Never mind it when the facts do not support the thesis; just carry on and ignore the facts. We'll adjust the facts later to fit the politically correct position.)
It was sixty-stinkin-five here today, too, but more normal weather returns tomorrow. All that really cold stuff just slid right over us here in the South. And you are welcome to it.
We played golf yesterday. What did you guys do?
