Love the color in your first shot...it's always difficult to capture that twilight feeling but you nailed it totally. Now start shoveling...

Wow, that's a lot of snow for the "Wet side".
The family from the "dry side" says they have about the same, and COLD.

We're from the dry side of Oregon. We have about eight inches and it is cold. We're holed up and not going anywhere.
We're from Minnesota originally (30+ years ago) so we're pretty confident driving in snow and ice but there's a lot of folks in this area who "get a little loopy" (to quote a State Highway official) when we get this kind of accumulation. Better to stay put if you can.
It is lovely though...first time we have had what promises to be a "White Christmas" in a number of years.

More's falling as I type this, here in Duvall (for those of us unfamiliar with the Seattle area, about 35 miles North-northeast of Kent, which is about 15-20 miles south of Seattle). Also been kilted for the majority of the past 10 days... Usually in the MacKenzie 18 oz 9-yarder...
Rain would be much welcomed here, methinks.

it is still snowing here in Gig Harbor south of Kent about 30 miles. The weather man said it was going to stop snowing sheesh,
But the snow caused Brett Favre choke and loose to his old boss, Mike Holmgren on his last day as a coach of the Seahawks

Got 19" here in Duvall. Last time I was downstairs, about 15 minutes ago, it was still snowing. Guess we'll find out how much is on the ground in the morning. Don't expect to get out at all tom'w, since it's going to take a while for this stuff to melt. Just hope it's diminished enough so I can go pick up my father @ the airport on the 24th.
