I've already asked for the day off, I have a website of Burns' poems bookmarked, I picked up the kilt I may wear at the post office this morning - I'll be there.

I was wondering if Scout Niagara and his brother were coming, if anyone could get in touch with him it would be great, they were certainly a big part of the success we enjoyed last year.
So Gary is doing the Immortal Memory, I have said I'll recite Tam O'Shanter, do we have a volunteer for the Address to the Haggis? Captain the Reverend Donald Gordon Glennie did a wonderful job last year and if he is available that would be perfect. The other pieces I'd love to have someone volunteer for would be the Toast to the Lasses and the response from the Lasses. Of course please have something to read, I know Gary wants to read My Heart is in the Highlands, and I may be coaxed into reading another piece besides Tam. Oh one other thing I've asked for this to be advertised on the RSCDS Toronto website, so we may get some more show up from that. Please put down what you would be willing to do in this thread, thanks guys.

I am tickled every shade of pink in announcing, that I will be at the Burns supper. I'm flying up to Buffalo and being driven the rest of the way to Toronto (I'm lacking my passport).
I've booked my tickets and everything. This is my first trip (and better not be my last) to Canada.

Milady Duchess, glad that you'll be joining us.
If you have any questions about getting back into the States, feel free to PM or e-mail me (that is my day job, after all).

So an update
Wompet will be doing the Immortal Memory
Hendry will be doing the Toast to the Lasses
DuchessofNC will be doing the Reply from the Lasses
I'll be reciting Tam O'Shanter
Can we get a volunteer to do the Address to the Haggis? If not I'm working on learning it and can do it if needs be, but I'd rather someone else take that on.

I'm up for a piece. I can write a new Twa Lands for this year, or read anything that is desired (short of the Address to the Haggis... tough act to follow after last year!)
"Durum Patientia Frango" (By patience I break what is hard) Clan Muir Muir motto
"Do well, and let them say - Gordon!"
"I don't care to belong to a club that accepts people like me as members" My hero, Groucho Marx

Glad to hear it, so the Twa Lands is yours, you're right the Address from last year will be a tough to follow. Of course you could come prepared to read something else as well.
