That's okay...yesterday I found the Leatherman Micra tool that I lost six months ago underneath a pair of shoes on my bedroom floor.

    Sh*t happens...

Oh no, Arlen! I'm so sorry to hear this Panache is right, though. Stop looking for it for a little while and take a breather... you might be able to come across it again after you've had a chance to stop thinking about it for a moment. Sometimes that really is a great way to find something (I know, if you're anything like me you can't let something rest).

Could one of the cats have batted it behind or between furniture?

    Good luck finding it *hugs*

I really hate when I do this. It always ends up appearing when you least expect it, and almost certainly at the very top of a pile where you swear you have looked at least a dozen times. Go on about your business and let the search slip into the back of your mind. I'm sure you'll find it once the time is right.

It'll turn up. I was working on a fountain once and lost a bag of wire nuts. I had drive 20 miles one way to the nearest hardware store to get more. I found the ones I'd lost that evening when I got home. They were in my jacket pocket.

I lost a cell phone once that way. My nephew had the idea to call my numer to help me find it. Problem was - it seemed like every where I looked I could hear the phone, just couldn't find it!

Have courage Arlen - You're way ahead of me!
