oor guide informs me that Diageo (owners o' Talisker- biggest drinks company in the world)

dinnae allow photos whilst oan the tour...

(very odd... I cannae imagine whit they are tryin' tae hide...)

noo Talisker wuz the fierst malt I tried... an it is still

yin o' my favorites... an it is near an' dear tae my heart...

but as the tour went oan... the lassie kept saying things I didnae like...

like- the grain used i' Talisker dinae come frae Skye...

the peat that is sae unique an distinct i' Talisker disnae come frae Skye...

less than 40% o' the malt they make a' Talisker is used tae mak Talisker...

maire than 60% goes tae blends like Johnny Walker & JB...

less than 40% spend oiny time a' all agin' oan Skye...

maist is aged in the Speyside...

There's something to be said for that third distillation. I greatly enjoy Auchentoshan. Great kilt by the way!

a' Talisker is bottled i' Glesga wi' Glesga watter...

Talisker i' chilled filtered...

an... (the maist shockin' revelation...!!!) Talisker is artificially coloured...

I probably wuidnae have spend £300 i' the giftie shop...

(the tour ends IN the giftie shop- by the way... tacky!)

this wuz the maist disappointin' an sad tour I have e'er been oan...

there were maire folk workin' i' the gift shop than the distillery... shows ya were their priorities arr....

we drove oop tae Portree fur some lunch..

(failrly borin' pub faire an nay real ale!) an whilst there

we encountered rude drivers THREE separate times in Portree...

the fierst an ainly rude drivers we encountered the whole trip...
