When the picture is in their hands she will come around. Wait until people start making comments about the pic. Give this one time. The force is great.

    no kilt love?

Maybe I'm a bit too much of a hard a$$ but if MY fiance told me flat-out that she didn't want me wearing the kilt, that's a warning sign of much bigger control-issues down the road. Besides, if your significant other knows you wear the kilt anyway while you're dating/courting, then it shouldn't be an issue on your wedding day, regardless of whether or not you're kilted for the actual ceremony. I'm sure your brother's wife is a great person, so I'm not meaning to pass judgment overall, but in the case of the kilt I find the prejudice against it to be absurd. My lady rolls her eyes at me sometimes when I want to wear the kilt almost every day, but she doesn't dislike it at all... she's a history teacher and has loved learning more about Scottish history and the history of Highland dress because of my affinity for the kilt. I dunno... I just can't understand why anyone would tolerate being told that they absolutely CANNOT wear something. --soapbox mode OFF--

You are correct in more ways than you know. I did this picture for them for a couple reasons- 1) My brother looks excellent in it, and 2) Saying that I'm trying to "stick it" to my sister in law isn't exactly the right way to put it, but it's the best I can come up with. She wasn't always as controlling as she is now. The whole family used to adore her, myself included. But she's gone a little nuts lately... I'm hoping in some small way to spark something with this picture and get my friend back. Even my bro isn't happy like he used to be. Ah well. Such is life, though. Luckily for me, my wife thinks I look like a sexy beast ans doesn't want me in pants ever. So I am a lucky guy.

A handsome couple indeed. Give her some time, no one is immune to the power of the kilt!

The pic will definitely help. The kilt adds a dimension that would be sore lacking if he had been trouser-ed.
Wife's brother had a ridiculously controlling wife. She cheated on him with an Olive Garden waiter.
