Top of the buckle only, please!

Covering the buckle.

To the top of the kilt, regardless of belt or no.
-
Heck with all that noise, I just tuck it into the kilt!

'Wears' your tie?
So, I since the search function won't allow searches with any words less than 4 letters, I couldn't find if this has been covered in the past.
I think I know what the "official" answer is, I just thought I'd poll everyone and see what you thought.
So, where do you wear your tie? Top o' the buckle?, top of the kilt?, covering the buckle, just to the bottom?

If the tie ends in a point, I like the point to touch the top of the belt buckle. I don't like for the tie to cover the buckle.
If I'm wearing a waistcoat, I don't like for the tie to stick out from under the waistcoat.
If it is with a suit or sport jacket, I do just about the same.

I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…

Top of the kilt, more or less. Some ties are longer than others.

With a long torso and medium large neck I am lucky to get my ties to extend to the top of the buckle, unless I can find what I am looking for in long length.

I try to tie it in such a way that it falls just to the top of the buckle. Sometimes this means a loose, slightly wide, knot at the neck.

You got in first.
On rare occasions when I fish one out from the back of my cupboard, it goes on the way it came off, knot and all.

Don't tuck the tie in unless it is being tucked into a waistcoat. Only tuck the tie in if it is a four-in-hand tie. Don't tuck in your bowtie, and make sure your bowtie isn't covering your belt.
