Regimental Field Flashes?

I just looked through the Vintage Photo thread [great idea Rex, I love it] and from the photos there all I could determine was that the flashes are NOT "usually" the Tartan but a solid.

To be sure, the vintage thread was not my idea, but I do enjoy hunting for- and posting the photos.

Well it seems like the consensus is that at least in recent history they have been/ are Red for all of the Highland Regiments.
