I don't see any problem doing this on a sporran lid! Let's try it!

I have two Wyvern Leatherwork Sporrans and they are just great, roomy, very sturdy and an economic value.

I can't believe I didn't think of that... how cool would that be, possibly done up in red on green leather, or something similar and close to the "appropriate" colors...

This was not a sporran theme that interested me, so I didn't post a response for myself. What changed my mind about posting is that this may be the way to get my nephew to cross the bridge and get a kilt. I'll pass this on to him and see if he finally caves in.

With permission, I'd like to pass on the pics to my borderline nephew!

Absolutely, feel free to pass them along.

Those of you that are more traditional may not always dig, or approve of my style and choices.

Remember, I don't have a Scottish heritage. Mine is mostly German.
I wear the kilts because I love the look and they are so comfortable.
I tend to bend the rules a bit and make and wear stuff that I think looks cool.

It turns out a lot of the stuff I do tends to appeal to younger folks.

So what the heck, if that is what it takes to get a youngster interested, I say it is a great place to start....
