the Rough Rider Saloon...
Prior to embarkation for Cuba, the the First U.S. Volunteer Cavalry was garrisoned across the Bay in Ybor City (Tampa). On one of their nightly pub crawls, the Rough Riders mounted a cavalry charge down 7th Ave. and into the town's oldest restaurant; Las Notepads, immortalized forever as "The Charge of the Yellow Rice Brigade".
