Joke From WWII
My Grandfather served in the US Army during WWII. This joke was in one of his letters home, dated "12 April, 1945, somewhere in Belgium".
" Cigerette Joke"
One Kool morning Miss Pall Mall started walking down Chesterfield lane in Winstom Salem. She met Phillip Morris who took her to the Raleigh Inn in Newport.
I'll not post the rest as it gets very naughty from that point on. The whole thing is a play on words using brand names of cigerettes. Perhaps some of the older members here remember it or variations thereof. I've never seen it online.
Here's the last line- "But she is not worried because he used a filter tip. They said it couldn't be done, but it's what's up front that counts."
My Grandmother saved all his letters home and they've since been passed on to me. Her brother was a paratrooper who made most of the jumps ( North Africa, Sicily, Italy, Normandy and Market Garden -Holland) and I have a lot of the letters he sent her as well.

I remember a similar one but it was based on the names of beers.
It, too, is rather naughty...
...so I'll PM it to you.

Got it.
My Grandfather sent some home that would get me banned for life if I post them.
