The wife and I made a spur of the moment trip to the Grand Canyon on New Years Day. The weather was gorgeous, and we ran into a surprising number of Scots at the canyon, including some fellow Macphersons. Scenery shots... Later on that day, we prove we don't know the meaning of the word serious...
Thanks for the pics! The Canyon always takes my breath away! Someday we ought to try a Arizona Kilt Gathering at the Canyon!

As a MacIntosh to a closely related clan member--awesome! thanks for posting! and for everyone on the post--as a Flagstaffian (just below the canyon) let's do have a kilted gathering at the rim--I'm totally up for it.
I'm up for it, with enough prior notice.
Superb pics, what a grand place to spend New Year's day with the family.

During my last Spring Break I went to Flagstaff to visit my sister and her husband and took a short trip to the canyon. Pictures just don't do it justice, but here are a couple. Yours are better. Nulty
