    Advice for my friend

Hey everyone.. Sorry it’s been awhile, but I could use some advice. We are looking for my friends first “Kilt”. I putt it in quotes because we can’t afford a true wool kilt. We need to order from Frugal Kilts. No offence to Frugal, we love those guys.

His last name is Thomson, and his decent is from the Oxley family, English I think. What Kilt on the Frugal Kilt sight that would suit him?

Side note, he also has some Polish heritage, I can’t spell it, but trust me.

You all always give me the most Kick butt advice.. Thank you for your help..

With a name like Thomson why not go for the clan kilt? Maybe you gotta save a few weeks longer, or go out and pick up some aluminum, or shovel some snow, but he'd have a kilt in his clan tartan and there's nothing makes a man stand taller.

This is Thomson Grey from USA Kilts.

You might also want to consider one of the solid color 'shadow' wool kilts from Stillwater - $122.00 is a great value.

If your friend truly wants wool but thinks he can't afford it, Brian's suggestion is the best deal around

fwiw, my son saved up and ordered a black shadow SWK heavy and would sleep in it, if he could. He loves it, and his mom and I are pleased because it looks/feels like he definitely got his money's worth.

And with his black pipe band commando sweater and balmoral, he looks like quite a little tough guy.
