DC Area Kilt Alterations Advice please

Hello. I wanted to ask if any forum members could recommend a shop to alter my kilt. I live in Germantown, MD. I am in the Montgomery county part of MD, but can also travel to Northern VA or DC if need be. I have lost weight and my kilt is way too loose for me now. I don't have any sewing skills myself, and I wouldn't want to trust my kilt to anyone that wasn't top notch. Thank you in advance for your response.

Unfortunately I don't know of anyone in the greater DC area that I would trust with my kilts. (and I can't sew either)

If it were me I'd try to send the kilt to a kilt maker (preferably the one who made it) to have alterations done. If you can't do that I'd check the local pipe bands (I know there are at least a couple) and see who they recommend.

Contact the Scottish Merchant in Alexandria. They provided me the name of someone in the Falls Church/Arlington area that would do kilt adjustments. (I never called so I can't comment on the quality of their work.)
