When I can afford it, I will have a formal sporran made and it will have symbolic uses of serten fur, as well as, cantle designs.

May I suggest a sea turtle, perhaps turquoise , somehow worked into the design of the cantle, Ron.

Horse hair would be WESTERN!

Change out the cantle poss & replce the "sporran badge with a "native motif" like this PNW "Beaver" or a Turquoise ??

I had a horsehair sporran through the L&M designer from the STM and I think its looks grand because I can change out the badge on the cantle. Look at the link so see mine.
