    Neatly folding down your kilt hose, soccer socks, or hiking socks is just fine, for a rugged look you can pull either up as high as they will go after you have donned your chosen footwear and then just push them down as though you were wringing out your leg.

    The boots are a great look. A classic modern kilt look with the tall black boots.

    I just picked up a pair of Warren's by Fuevog - have to say that I think they are also great.

    I'm a boots and bulky socks man myself, They definitely look better on than the catalog picture. When I "have" to put on a tie I prefer a pair of polished Doc Martens over traditional Brogues

    I agree. I prefer my polished Docs when wearing my weathered McKenzie.
