This seller frequently has regimental weight Forbes tartan woven by Robert HM Noble in 2-4 meter lengths (double width). I ordered 2 meters and made it into a box pleat not too terribly long ago.

Perhaps you could keep an eye out there and order the material, then have it made into a kilt in the same manner as a regimental kilt? Just a thought.

Thanks, but I have 3 Forbes tartan kilts! One from Bugpiper.

Forbes Tartan is hard to find.
