Kilted family breakfast

Cheers mates,

I went to the monthly family breakfast yesterday (1-10) in my Irish National. I paired it with my blue jumper. I also note my sgian dubh which was made by Steve @ Tenneessee Sgians (Thanks Steve). Sorry the pic is a little fuzy.

The temp started out at 50 but was droping before we got home the PV was not to warm, time to see Jerry about the wool.

You know, I was in one of Jerry's standard kilts when the WC here went double digits into the negative. As long as it's not blowing.... Though I am planning on a Wool from him soon. (Talked to him the other day, I was going to ask a question, but I always try calling a place, even though he said email is faster than his voice mail, and he picked up the phone. I was just going to hang up on the VM, and got a person. He thought that was peculiar to call a place and not expect the person to answer. )

You look fuzzy, but comfortable. Sometimes fuzzy is called for in comfort, anyway.

So, I'm curious: My folks live not far from you in the Riedland area, roughly. I just spent new year's weekend there, tromping for a bit around the final resting places of long- (and some recently-) departed ancestors and relatives in and around La Center. Many of the inhabitants of that region are descended from Scots who migrated from the Carolinas in the late 1700s and early 1800s. But I've never gotten the feeling that they all appreciate that much. How's the kilt going over there, anyway?
