That's a long walk for a pint, especially in our current winter temperatures!
I have been in the Horse and Jockey - near New Inn right?

Geee, wonder if that is our (American's) problem. People don't seem to get out and walk anymore especially if it is weather like that! I know I'm guilty of it. I hate walking alone, but once it turns colder or slightly rainy, none of my friends will join me. Perhaps, we just need better pubs?

Get yourself a dog. Then you'll have to walk

There is nothing better than a good long country, hill or mountain walk when the air is cold and brisk and you earn yourself a pleasant real ale or two at the end of it by a nice fire. We also had homemade bread rolls with cheese n onion while we were there as well. In two weeks I am going on a caving trip ... nothing to untoward. Will be wearing me oldest cilt for that and there is nothing like the warmth of the Angel Inn after with a good real ale n home made grub.
It is indeed the Horse & Jockey, Trefor. We gonna ave to take you to the goose and the red cow very shortly me thinks .... folk club this week by the way ...

Jack .. For nearly the first hour we were the only ones, then two forestry men came in and then a couple with their dog. They were the only ones still there when we left. We were there about an hour and a half. Its busy there in the evenings with the local farming community.

Here in Coalville the next nearest pub is 20 miles away and no public transportation. Even in Salt lake the pubs are not close but they do have transportation. Salt Lake is over 60 miles away, Down in the valley full of smog. Now Park City is about 30 miles and Main St. is full of bars and restaurants that serve and most are next door to one another. Oh, and free buses.
