I'm glad you asked this question, 1MUNK3 ; we can get it all out on the table.

Those Tartan Thistle hose sound like a good deal.
I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…
Yes, I have squirrels in my brain…

I don't have any experience with them but I've seen photos of their hose, and they look good.
I have a pair of tartan hose for my Cumming hunting kilt from the Tartan Thistle. They are first rate, and are well worth their cost.

Also, I am expecting a new pair of diced hose any day now from Skye Highland Outfitters. I can't speak to the hose yet, but Josh's customer service is second to none! If the hose are anything like the service, then they'll be some of the best Highland "kit" I've bought to date.

    Hello again McMurdo ,
Always a pleasure to hear from you ! Thanks for the link. To be quite honest I checked out their site last night. It seems like a fellow member that goes by the screen name "NorCalPiper" may be familiar with them. I saw his picture on the site a few times. I wonder what he or anyone else has to say about them. Thanks again. Keep 'em coming !

I believe Scotchmaster may have some experience with these guys, too.

    Hello Cajunscot,
It's good to hear from you. I believe I read your post regarding those very hose while i was searching for info on diced hose. They seem to be among the top so far. I'll definately have to see if they've got what I'm looking for. It sounds like they just might. Please do let me know how your diced hose from Skye Highland Outfitters are when they come in. I would love to know of another great source. Thanks so much.

    Hello Tim Little,
Good to hear from you. I see you're from MA as well. We must get together some time. Maybe Scotchmaster will pipe in and let us know, provided he has experience with the merchant in question, or let us know of another good source. I look forward to hearing from you in the near future, I hope.

Thank you so much for posting the link. I just got back from checking out their site. Unfortunately they didn't offer much info regarding the diced hose other than price, which is at a respectable $119.00. Luckily you posted a fantastic picture of the hose you got from them. They indeed look wonderful. Would you happen to know from your prior experience with them if they offer them in the red and green I'm looking for ?
I don't know if they do red and green but you can call (360) 331-4688 and ask them. I can't recall the lady's name I spoke with but she was very helpful.

This company looks promising. I need to replace some crappy synthetic diced hose I bought a few years ago.
