Thank you for sharing the chance to see a wee bit of our heritage and history. Unfortunately it is but a taste of the whole pie, that instead of sating the hunger only leaves one wanting all the stronger for more of the same.

    Thank you again.

Do watch it, wonderful scenery and a very fair portrayal of the history.I could nit pick about the statue on top of the Glenfinnan monument being "hinted" as Bonnie Prince Charlie(it is not he) but I won't. Well worth spending time to watch.Oh and there is a very fine herd of Highland cattle on show too, of course I have absolutely no idea who they belong too.

I really appreciated the link. I watched all episodes yesterday and then made my mother watch them as well. Can the whole series be ordered?

Was a beautifully photographed program. And truly, is there anyone who can watch anything about Culloden and not get a tear in the eye?

    Highlands - on DVD....

    http://www.musicinscotland.com/acata...lands_DVD.html

Found it on DVD. It's a PAL DVD so maybe on a PC watchable DVD in the States as you are NTSC over there arent you?

Another option - maybe downloading the video's in Real Player.... right click video as its playing and choose to download it. Now I think thats only storing a link on your PC. BUT my version has a option on the Tools menu to convert format? Not sure if you can then save off as AVI or MPG - then you would have a copy that you could watch again. If you only keep the link and STV take it down then you cant watch again.

Happy Hunting - and enjoy the show!
