That sucks!! My friend, you will be in my prayers. We'll miss you.

At one of our kilt nights a couple years ago there were 13 of us up there in Denver. I can think of at least 5 that have joined since then. BUT there are a few that are inactive or have moved out of state.

I remember only about 2 at one time. Yes it is good to have a larger number.

That's right, Glen. You weren't able to be there that night. And, looking back, there were only 10 there but I know there were a couple more besides you that couldn't make it.

My condolences. My fiance lost her job in August and we've been tight since then as well. I wish you both the best!

Times are tough all the way around. This is the slow season in the graphic design business. If it weren't for my tax return, and Jackson Hewitt's ultra fast refund service, we would be in serious trouble.

Invitations
Ok everybody the invitations have gone out. I know that some of you can not make it due to tight finances or prior commitments but we would love to see you anyway even if it is only for a pint or a dram or a toast.
I have been racking my memory to try and include everyone in the area but I am sure that I have missed some so if you know of anyone who is not listed on the to line of the PM please feel free to forward the invitation.
It will be at Pints Pub on Saturday night, 24 Jan 2009, at 6 pm. This will not be a "formal" per se but I do request that you dress up the kilt to the best of your abilities to honor Robert Burns and the occasion [it is also his 250th birthday this year]. I have gotten the "World Famous Burns Supper" starter kit so some of you may also get e-vites through that venue as well.
