Whoa - what a bunch of nice stuff!

While one should avoid dressing inappropriately - say, for instance, you usually would not want to show up to a brunch or a barbeque in a tuxedo - I think there is nothing wrong with raising the bar a notch and dressing slightly better than the average attendee. (Full disclosure: This is coming from a guy who did not bring any jeans to college until my senior year.) I like your outfits best in the order you posted them. The middle is a close second.

In the third, I think you should consider not wearing the tartan hose with that jacket, as treasured as they are. There is a wide disparity between the formality of the hose and the informality of the jacket. Instead, I'd consider wearing bottle green, claret, or charcoal - and you'd be good to go in that outfit, too.
