yeah, about that.... she has 1 purse at a time. when it gets ugly, a new one is acquired, and the old is tossed. I think she has a total of 4 pair of shoes, including 1 or 2 dress shoes, 1 pair of boots, her tennis shoes, and another pair of boots that she bought for a Halloween costume about 5 years ago. She isn't big into shoes. I have 3 pair of shoes, a pair of Docs, a pair of sketchers that I don't like to wear, and my ROTC shoes from HS. She never got the drive to shop and collect things like most women I know of. Except keychains and shotglasses, and both those collections have really slowed down anymore.

Every woman has a weakness, with my wife it's not shoes or purses, its sparklely little white things, in white gold. I started off with studs, then rings, then bigger rings, then bigger stones, then stones to match other stones. I have become real good friends with the jeweler, when he sees me he smiles and talks about retirement.
Her other minor weakness is eating out. I am a really good cook, but she prefers to eat out, sometimes it drives me bonkers.

Exactly... I only used shoes or purses as an example. Find what she collects a lot of or 'spends on' often and point it out. It helps to level the field a bit.
****DO NOT point anything out if she collects something VERY inexpensive (i.e. little trinkets') and you collect EXPENSIVE things (electronics, computer programs, multiple high end kilts, etc)... this could actually give her ammo to HURT your case.

yeah, like I said, shot glasses and key chains. She complains that she never really found any hobbies. She also like coin collecting, but its so passive that she rather just waits to see if I get anything nice, then if it become redundant, she takes it. Even that, she lacks the enthusiasm to care if she gets any of those or not. (Except when she refused to let me send in my proof set of pres dollars for grading, and made me buy another one I wanted from that set off of ebay.) It's annoying, it is. I have tried for over 5 years to help her find hobby, to no avail.
