Yep, 8 yeard 16-Oz. House of Edgar, 100% wool with a 23.5" drop. I am guessing handmades since they are from his old stock. You would have to ask him if they are indeed handmade, but a heavyweight 8 yard is still a pretty good buy at this price.
His starting price is £99, the reserve price is £125.
The £125 price ends up being what you would pay for a WPG kilt with proper tank quality.
Good lead, but from what I can observe, these are "civilian" style.

Sure they are probably pleated to the sett rather than the stripe. If you want stripe, go with one of the ex-MoD kiltmakers or the WPG kilkts are acceptable (REPLACE THE STRAPS!).
On the other hand, this is a super price for a heavyweight 8 yarder!
That's what counts to me.
