I get the kilts into the queue and await your instructions and the arrival of the tartan! I'm happy to ship half of it to Alex, if that's what he wants.

I'm a tad confused by all this, perhaps because of the combination of posts and PMs. The 8m dbl-width was shipped to you on Friday, Barb. Thanks for queuing me even before you have received it. Jeff, I'll send you an invoice for your half by pm and as soon as Barb confirms arrival you can send me a money order. After that, 8m single-width will be yours and you and Alex can sort out who gets what. If you both change your minds, that is okay, too; I'm more than happy to have it stay with Barb for a short while since there are two others who have expressed interest in having her wave her wand
Let me tell you, this is a superb tartan! Because it's Merino it is softer than Lochcarron of the same weight, but the colours are wonderful.

Perfect. I will await word of the luck of Alex with regards the piece Steve has over the next few days and let all in on the outcome. Sounds like the tartan should make beautiful and comfortabele high quality kilts for whomever's **** is blessed to be covered by it. Thank you again, Thistledown.

Thanks Jeff, a very kind of offer on your part but I really want you to have your Maple Leaf because I could see how overjoyed you were when you posted that Thistledown had secured the double width and Barb would now have enough to build your 8-yarder.
I´ve been in contact with Steve and if the other eight yards which he has is unclaimed I get first option, failing that he may be able to source some more for me. I'm in Spain at the moment, will be back in Scotland on Friday for the Ferintosh Burns Supper weekend and will be speaking to Steve after that but meantime you should go ahead and order that Tewkesbury for yourself.
Many thanks to you Jeff and to Steve for your wonderfully generous offers, xmarks is a clan of true friends worth their weight in gold.
