That might be a good idea in general, making it known where one can get the proper source for these materials. I know IOS is Rocky, correct?
Rocky is a retailor, not a producer. Usually it is more of a question of why produces the fabric, not who retails it (unless the retailor has had it produced somewhere just for them, or the retailor is buying their goods knowingly from a producer who does not have the rights).
In the case of Isle of Skye, Lochcarron has the rights to produce it in wool, and Marton Mills has the rights to produce it in PV. So any retailor that carries Lochcarron or Marton Mills products can supply it.
