A quick scan of the multi-verse shows this has indeed happened on an enormous scale.

Are you sure taht you don't live in a black hole or some other vortex that the mail man can't get to? I know they talk of snow and hail sleet and so on, I'm pretty sure that black holes were not mentioned in the post mans creed
