Steve and the XMTS Tartan Fabric

The more I think about this the more I pray that Steve will put a checkbox in his letter to allow us the one true option of accepting the fabric as produced and at the price we have already paid for it. This is what I wish for my fifteen yards. As one who works in a retail establishment, and deals with the surprises of receiving the merchandise. I appreciate the work that Steve has done already.
Should some people need the kilt selvage run made, and Steve needs a few more yards to bring the cost in line, I for one would be grateful for the opportunity to order additional tartan at the FULL price. I am having my kilt made by Steve, and am hoping he can work with the kilt having the fringe. I already have one kilt in the kollection with a fringe along the selvage and a double layer fringe on the front apron. It is the kilt that gets the most attention from the lasses on my subway rides around the city.
I am heartened by the response to this thread and the character of my fellow kilted kind.
