You have no idea how good the pudding is. She started out making for St. Patty's Day a couple years ago, and it's become a real staple for anyone who's ever tasted it.
Why not join us, Scrapscot? It's a short flight from there.

OK, folks, this is the current roster for the 3rd Annual Great SEKS Burns Supper at the Celtic Tavern on Saturday next, celebrating Rabbie's 250th birthday. I am listing names and head count; please correct me if the number is wrong.
BTW, you can add another person or two at the last minute if you want to. This is not a closed program by any means. I'm just trying to get a pretty close count so we'll have enough chairs. I assure you there'll be ample food.
Me 2
Scott Turner 2
Gilmore 2
Atl. Kiltie 2
NixPhotography 1
Turpin 3
NorCalPiper 2
Tattie Shaw 2
Possibles:
Derek 1
David (my friend) 2
that would add up to 19 if all show up.
Keep those cards and letters coming.

The Number Grows
Well, lads and lassies, unless someone listed in the last post peeters out on us--and no one has told me so if they plan to--we'll have about 24 folks at the supper, maybe 26 depending on hockey! (Hockey? . . . don't ask)
A good friend of mine called last night to invite me to an informal drink fest in honor of the bard, and I talked him into joining us instead. So add four more.
This is going to be the finest yet, so come early in order to meet everyone with. With all the new faces, it may take a while to get around the room.
And one last call: Anyone who wants to do anything special, let me know so I can put you on the docket.

Finding the Pub
This is probably my last post before tonight.
I thought it best to make sure everyone knew how to find the place.
The Celtic Tavern is at 918 Commercial Street, Conyers 30012
If you Google "celtic tavern conyers," you'll find a great little map and you can even get directions. The map I came up with was at http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&um...=directions-to and one click back shows I-20.
Basically, take the West Ave. exit from I-20 and turn back north. (to the left if you're coming from Atlanta.)
Go about 3-4 blocks until you cross the railroad tracks, and take an immidiate right. Parallel the tracks about two blocks (on Railroad St.) until it dead ends at a large builiding and you have to turn left.
Round the block on the left (like a u-turn) and go back up Commercial Street in the opposite direction you were traveling. The Tavern is half-way up on the right. Can't miss it.
Parking is a bit dicey, so if you come early, you can park in front of the Tavern. If not, then just u-turn again back where you came from and park on the back street.
If you're coming from Gwinett area down Ga 20, just keep coming south until it dead ends at Main St. Turn left, take the next right and you'll go a block until you hit Railroad St. Then turn left and follow the directions above.
Call me 770-714-4919 if you get lost.
It's going to be a great evening, and I appreciate the well wishes. Bring your cameras and plan on lots of fun.
Happy hour starts at 4:00!

Thanks for the good wishes. I assure you we'll have a fine time.
But, you know, you could be there.
If you leave right now, jump I-24 to Chattanooga, pick up I-75 through Atlanta, to I-20 East.
Get off at the West Ave exit . . .
You could make it in time for dinner if you hurry. I'll buy you a wee dram of the aqua vitae and serve you the haggis w' my own han's.
