Thanks for the good wishes. I assure you we'll have a fine time.
But, you know, you could be there.
If you leave right now, jump I-24 to Chattanooga, pick up I-75 through Atlanta, to I-20 East.
Get off at the West Ave exit . . .
You could make it in time for dinner if you hurry. I'll buy you a wee dram of the aqua vitae and serve you the haggis w' my own han's.

Now that, that was warm and heartfelt! Moran taing!!
I wish that my extenuating circumstances allowed for it. I would have accepted your wee dram and probably offered you many more of mine.
Post some pics soon!
Glad you guys had a grand time!

I'll put a new thread in the photos forum, but for anyone interested in checking here . . .
We shared our celebraiton with everyone in town as our piper played in the street as the kilte rabble gathered. Dennis Duncan of the Atholl Highlanders did the honors.

Until the sun passed over, it was warm enough to enjoy the fresh air in front of the Tavern and keep the local folks wondering what we were up to:

25 attendees filled our small space:

It may look big, but it was all gone in short fashion.

Turpin addressed the warm, reekin', rich puddin' as it should be done:
