I know that I am rather late with this posting, but I've only managed to sort out the photographs.
I made this kilt as a Christmas present, from fabric we bought in Bath during a summer holiday. The fabric is french printed cotton and very unusual as it is 2.80 metres wide.
I fully appreciate that not all will find this kilt to their taste, but the recipient certainly did, although I suspect that it will be worn more during the summer.
It's a 6 yard machine stitched without the internal pleats being cut out,and lined in a striped shirt cotton
