On a personal note, let me just say that it makes this Burnsian's heart glad to see so many celebrations of the ploughman poet depicted on this forum!

A very celebratory day for Robert Burns. His 250th was honoured as part of the service in my church today. All of the readings were taken from his work. We hoisted due honour at the "fellowship hour" with coffee, not first malt.
