I'll be there for the show and for bike's B-day:

THE STREET DOGS, The Ashers, FLATFOOT 56.
2126 S. Preston St.
Louisville, KY

March 3rd. $10.00

For those who may not know, Flatfoot 56 has an excellent bagpiper.
The Street Dogs was formed by the original (and better in my opinion) Dropkick Murphy's singer.

"I received an e-mail from the lead singer of The Street Dogs, Mike, asking me to rally support for their show in Louisville, KY on March 3rd. Yes, it's a Tuesday at 7:30 PM EST... but let's make sure they don't drive from Boston for nothing. For those who do not know The Street Dogs: Mike McColgan was the original Dropkick Murphy's singer, who left the band to be a Boston firefighter. He is still a firefighter who is on extended leave for this band. Mike is also an Army veteran of Operation Desert Storm. He was rescently featured in Marine Corps publications for his song "Final Transmisson" which immortalizes a yongster who died in Baghdad with only six months of service, and who wanted to be a school teacher after the war. They are also known for their song "Back to the World", which is about veterans.

The show is $10.00 at Uncle Pleasants in Louisville. After work, come on down and stay two hours and help make this a good show and give a warm welcome... please."
