Kelly's mom is making me Shepard's Pie for Dinner and Kelly got me Carrot Cake for desert... life is good.
BTW... here's a neat way to mix cultures... Shepard's Pie-Rogies. Kelly's Mom is Polish and likes to make Pirogies with her daughters. When I was asked to help, I decided I wanted to do something a little different with the 'potato pirogies', so I cooked up some ground beef and put it on the mashed potatos and put a tiny bit of cheddar cheese on top before closing the pirogie. The result is my (only) culinary invention... shepard's pi-rogies.
