It does exist
Well we tried to get some pics at Snow Ball but the camera wouln't cooperate. This is right before we left. The kilt is an ancient Douglass.

Generally speaking the belt is not worn with the waistcoat, as it tends to make said waistcoat lie strangely, without the belt there is a cleaner look. Is it a major gaf? I really don't think so it's just something to be aware of.
