    Looking at it more carefully, I think you are correct. Now I have to figure out how to make a belt using a bail. I've never done that before and I don't have a model and I don't want to use velcro.

    My kilt belt uses velcro, which works perfectly well. The bail is typically permanently affixed to one end of the belt. The other end goes through the loop on the back of the buckle then ataches to the back of the belt, either using velcro or a smaller strap and buckle. Haven't found a good picture.

    Nice Buckle. I've always been a fan of Don's work. I have a few of his pieces in fact. He's a really nice guy tae boot. Happy Birthdae tae ye . I hope you enjoyed your day.
