tartan boxers?
I had this thought a few days ago as I was putting on a pair of boxers in a fashion tartan (close to royal Stewart, but not quite), of how nice it would be to have a decent fitting pair in my own tartan. Call it camouflage or whatever, I'm not a big fan of flashing white like a white-tailed deer on the run
Any of our wonderful makers want to add a new product to the lineup?

Not sure you would want it in wool tartan as the nether regions for some reason tend to already get thier fair share of itching and scratching even without it. But some tartans are available in polyviscose, cotton, or silk, the latter two of which are light enough and might make a decent pair of boxers, if you can find your tartan. Good luck with the search, and do let us know if you succeed in your quest, although in this case I think pics would probably NOT be desired---we will trust your report.

Nothing New Under The Sun (or under your kilt, either!)
Back in the day when your new kilt was delivered by your tailor to your home, you would discover upon opening the box that he had included a pair of "short trews". These were a bit more snug fitting than traditional boxers-- more like boxer briefs-- and were made from cotton, silk, or superfine saxony wool (which is softer than the worsted of a kilt and, in lighter weights, is rather like flannel). Some were tartan, but most were a dark, navy blue. They either had a fitted waist band that buttoned closed, or a drawstring, and a multiple button fly.
If you can't afford to have a special run of tartan done for your bespoke boxers, you might consider having a local machine embroidery shop scan in your clan crest and have that embroidered on the left leg of your "store bought" small clothes, instead!

Under Armour boxer briefs are the most comfortable thing you can wear no matter whether it's pants or kilt or ...? Very comfy, secure and most importantly they leave no (dare I say it) panty line.

Walmart (of all places) carries boxers in tartans. If you're going to wear 'em under your kilt, you might as well try to get something that matches.

Wearing boxers with a kilt is like wearing a belt with suspenders. You're wearing both pants and a kilt.

The WalMart tartan boxers are an inexpensive three pack. Easy to cut the crotch out of and create a tartan "underkilt" to still provide freedom as well as...well..."sanitation'...

Plus you can wear 'em with your BDU's and feel all Scottish when you have to wear your uniform. They're about the only personally chosen garment when you have to wear a uniform.
