    Well,

    I cranked out the Sporran, thanks to Turpins excellent suggestions and advice.
    Got the pouch leatherwork done in a day and added the outside fur tonight.

    Here is a pic of the sporran w/o fur showing all the pockets inside and out.
    I especially like the back pocket.... easy access
    .


    and here is the finished piece with fur and head on. The back is not furred as I did not want
    the constant shedding on the kilt. Doesn't look too bad against Stewart Black.



    Guys making sporrans... Fur hides a multitude of sins. ;-)

    That looks awesome!!! I'd love to have a full mask spooran one day, but I have to wait until my wee one gets older...I think it scare the beejebus out of her!!!!

    That came out fantastic ! That's on the list of projects I'd like to tackle this year, a full masked sporran. I'm still trying to settle on the beast that will be protecting my front . I figure my lads would get a kick out of making a couple fur ones wit their Da. I'm just not sure if they're ready for a full mask one for themselves, but a fur one, definitely. Again, great job.
