Is it true that a Scotsman should wear his flashes toward the front rather than the side?????

Welcome! That's something often debated here. It's alright to wear them either way. If you're part of a group (i.e. pipe band) you'll probably be informed how to wear them, otherwise, its up to you.

Welcome,from Inverness-shire. This Scot wears them a wee tad fore ward of the side. How you wear them is up to you.
